Dilli Haat

1. Where India’s Culture Meets You

Dilli Haat is an open-air market in Delhi where India’s traditions, colors, crafts, cuisine, and rhythms come to life. More than just a marketplace, Dilli Haat celebrates India’s rural and folk roots brought right into the heart of urban Delhi.

2. Our Vision & Mission

At Dilli Haat, our aim is simple: to provide an immersive cultural experience and bridge the gap between artisans and urban life. Our artisans gain a platform to showcase their skills. At the same time, visitors encounter unforgettable cultural encounters – every artifact, taste, or performance is an expression of heritage, passion, and identity that endures throughout time.

3. What Makes Dilli Haat Special

  • Handcrafts of India: Here you’ll discover an exquisite collection of wood carvings (rosewood and sandalwood), handwoven textiles, brassware, traditional footwear, jewelry, and regional art forms from each state across India.
  • Craftspeople are assigned rotating stalls (usually every 15 days) so their offerings remain fresh, diverse, and authentic.
  • Visit our food plaza and experience India through its diverse offerings: momos from Northeast India, Kashmiri kebabs, dosas from southern India, and sweets from Bengal – you are bound to experience all kinds of flavor from around India!
  • Cultural Performances & Festivals: Our cultural performances & festivals pay homage to India’s vast and rich diversity by way of traditional folk dances, musical shows, exhibitions and state festivals that allow audiences to witness its traditions live.
  • Rustic Ambiance in Urban Spaces: Our designs create rustic ambiences in urban settings with thatched roofs, cobbled pathways, and earthy landscaping reminiscent of village haats while remaining contemporary and convenient.

4. Locations & Timings

  • Dilli Haat in South Delhi is the original, covering 6 acres, and is open from 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM every day. Entry prices are usually set at Rs30 for adults and lower costs for children.
